If you would like Bronx Community Pride Center to consider a donation of tangible personal property such as furniture, valuables, appliances, etc., please email the Executive Director by clicking here.
Donation of buildings or land has significant tax advantages, particularly if the property in question has appreciated significantly in value from the time of purchase. If you are interested in donating real estate property to the Bronx Community Pride Center, we would be happy to link you to the professionals who can help you make this decision in the most beneficial way possible. Charitable Trust Bequest

Will Bequest

Wills and Trusts are of particular importance to members of the LGBT community as we may have partners or loved ones to whom we may wish to receive the benefits of our estate that are not recognized by the state. When we formulate a Will or Trust, we may choose to remember those organizations that mean the most to us as well. There are several ways to give to the Bronx Community Pride Center in a Will or Trust:

• A specific amount can be selected
• A proportion or percentage of the total estate can be formulated
• The remainder of the estate, what’s left over after all other parts are satisfied, may be given

You may also place restrictions on how this money is to be spent, such as for a specific program or activity. You will need a lawyer to give to the Bronx Community Pride Center through your will or trust.

Trusts can reduce your reported income and help you save on your taxes.  The amount saved can be reinvested, generating income for the trust: your beneficiaries and/or the Bronx Community Pride Center.
