Safe Spot

Out of project SPOT has emerged the Safe SPOT Program: A Partnership with the Bronx Business Community, a novel outreach initiative that recruits community businesses to display a sticker in their window that designates their place of business a Safe SPOT for LGBT youth: a place where free condoms and information about Bronx Community Pride Center programs are continuously available. These business owners are informed about how to recognize and reach out to a youth in need and the importance of community activism.
